For example, we typically use speakers that fit within the walls and ceilings (or even under the floor) leaving, at most, only a perforated speaker grill exposed. Walls are often treated with acoustically transparent fabric coverings that are similar to wallpaper but allow the treatments behind them to work their magic.
In many cases, clients have a rough idea of what they want but still need to refine it into specifics. To assist you, we have many fabric and seating selections available, some of which have already been assembled into possible schemes. We offer these to you as a starting point. For higher-end theaters, however, we recommend that you retain an Interior Designer. We are happy to work with them and can recommend several if you are not presently working with one.
Notice that we have not said a word about equipment. The reason is simple: although you will hear and see the result, for the most part, you will have very little direct interaction with it. Every space has unique characteristics, every family has unique requirements; our mission is to define the system that will best meet those needs—and yet remain out-of-sight, out-of mind. We know how to do that. Further, we know how to professionally install and support any equipment that we supply—and most important—we know how to properly calibrate and program it so that it will operate at its fullest potential for many years.
